About the Author

A traveller who shares the road

My name is Oleksandr. For many years I have been exploring Europe on a BMW R1250RT and sharing those journeys on the YouTube channel “Look Beyond the Horizon”.

I ride every route myself: noting what is worth seeing, checking the roads, and turning all of it into a detailed guide — so that you can repeat the journey without months of planning and avoidable mistakes.

My routes are thousands of kilometres, dozens of countries and hundreds of places worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.
